The Stone Age Settlers

One sunny day my cousins and I went to the Red Arch caves. The cave was dark and we played hide and go seek. I stood in one spot and it was cold but I’m not scared of anything. I saw this boy who had long hair. I did not know if it was a boy or a girl but it was a boy. Well his hair was long, fat and greasy. Yuck! His clothes were like a dress but it was not. It was a tunic. He was carrying a stick over his should with one hand and the end of the stick and a dead bird tied to the other end. I asked him what he was doing. He said I am carrying a bird home for dinner. I said bye good luck. We went down to the last cave and hid behind the rock. He walked up the path and than we followed him. He went to the river and got in a boat. We crawled along the bank. He stopped the boat close to a hut. It was funny because it was made out of animal skin and wood. Then I saw a girl. She saw me walk home so she walked along too. We went inside and she followed me to my room. She went to my bed but I got her out because she was stinking. I put her in to the shower and I put shampoo on her head. She said get that off! I said ok and washed it off. I took her to the hairdresser. I took the money from mum’s purse. When we got back to the house she got the eggs, apples and grapes. I send her home all messy again. She took the food in a bag and went home. I went with her to her house. She said hello everyone this is my friend Naomi. They ate all the food with their hands. One said I need a wee. I said where? Behind the hut said that one. They took me fishing. They caught fish with a spear and they gave me one to take home.
