"I got my cartiledge pierced about a month ago and i wasn't scared at all but I did think it would hurt more thatn my ear lobe and take longer to heal. When i got it done it didnt even hurt as much as my lobes. It was a little bit sore for about a day or so but then i could touch it and turn my earing really easily in about a week. It healed soo much faster than my lobes and it was crazy cuz i never thought it would be so easy."

"Hey all....well I'm 15 and on my birthday last August I got my eyebrow pierced. I absolutely love it. It's pretty easy to take care of and it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. Just today I got the top of my ear (or cartilage) pierced. That hurt a tad. The only problem is, is waiting for the stupid thing to heal. yuck. My hair gets tangled in it too sometimes-which sucks and isn't healthy for the piercing. I'm not really sure what I can do to prevent this-except wear my hair up all the time or get it all cut off, which isn't really appealing. But oh well, I'll get over it. peace."

"hey im 15 and i have my belly button pierced, and eight holes in my ears. the most painful piercing i had was my lobe piercing in my ear so people if your worried  tat ur belly button is gonna hurt and u already have your lobe pierced you have nothing to worry about. believe me. i really want to get my tragus pierced and hopefully ill wind my mum into saying yes if i say im paying she usually says ok. even though my mum is very understanding and very experimental (shes thinking about getting her belly button piercing herself) se is also letting me get my first tattoo on my lower back in the summer which will be cool but im just asking how old u have to be to get a tattoo with parental consent so if anyone knows give me a shout at

"i got my belly button pierced in january.  my stepmom and dad took me where they get all their piercings.  i was so nervous.  i got on the chair and the guy pierced it.  i thought i was fine until i got up.   i told them i was goin outside.  while i was walkin to the door my stepmom had to grab me cuz i started to lean and she thought i was gonna fall.  she guided me outside and sat me on her truck tire.  the next think i remember was wakin up on the ground.  my stepmom was ready to open up a stinky stick(things u crack open when someone passes out).  all the ppl in the tattoo place came out.  i woke up to stuff like "What the Hell" and "she looks like she just smoked a fat-ass joint"  on the way home everyone told me what happened.  it really wasnt that bad i just get like that.  so if u r thinkin of gettin ur naval pierced go for it.  i just hope my story didnt scare u and keep u from doin it."

"I went to Sunsera Salons in S'toon, Sk... my mom said she wasn't going to let me do it if it was dingy- looking... this place is very clean, and there were lots of people there, which made me feel sooo much better.. You've probably heard the clamps hurt worst and think its all a bunch of crap but its not... they do! anyway, i had veronica do it she was soo awesome... she said to count to five... okay... one... two... thr- POKE! it totally got me off guard, and i felt barely anything- i think my mom was in more pain than me!! but i stood up and looked in the mirror... i couldnt get over my piercing! it looked so cool and i couldnt feel anything, i was on a total adrenaline rush... anyway i walked out and these other people were there smiling at me cuz they knew i'd just gotten pierced, and it felt soo cool... all i felt after was a little stinging on the way home; nothing u cant handle... the grossest part is turning the ring when cleaning it, but sea salt soaks do help, and its kind of fun too!
well thats my story and im sticking to it."

"my 16th birthday was coming up, and you know what THAT means, legal age for piercing :P  so me and some friends went down to the city's tattoo and peircing place and checked some stuff out.  We made our appointments and came back on my birthday to get it done.  Gabby was getting her eyebrow and bellybutton, and I was getting another piercing on my ear, and a lip ring.  I was kinda scared, not so much for the actual piercings, but because I didn't ask my parents for permission.. they have a "NO FACIAL PIERCINGS" rule, so I knew they'd say no.. lol, I knew i'd be _dead_ as soon as i got home.
But I got it done anyways, and it actually didn't hurt much.  The ear hurt a lot more than the lip surprisingly.  My piercer smelled really good, which made the experience a lot better, haha.  I got the lip done on the left side.. I was scared it would look retarded, but i ended up LOVING it.
They refused to pierce Gabby's eyebrow because she had too many veins in her forehead, but the bellybutton was successful, and it looks really cute.
When I got home, my parents kind of freaked. They want me to get the lip ring taken out.  I'm grounded for a week and I'm not allowed to drive the car until the lip ring is removed.  Its going to break my heart when I finally get it taken out..  Work on the other hand, actuallY LIKES the ring. Haha. It rocks!
I don't regret getting this at all.  I love how it looks and feels.  I even like cleaning it!  The only bad things about this lip ring is that eating is a lot more difficult, and I've picked up a bit of a lisp.. haha, I can deal though.  And the ear still hurts a lot, especially when I bump it on stuff.
I think I'll probably end up getting a lot more piercings once I'm moved out of my house and my parents can't stop me, lol.."
