I enjoy watching golf. My favorite player to root for was Payne Stewart. I loved his knickers and he was a spirited player-fun to watch. Unfortunately he died in a plane crash not so long ago. There was an outpouring of support by the "PGA" and I'm sure the people who really knew him will miss him. Then there is Tiger Woods he has so much appeal- I congratulate his parents for a job well done! What "we", the public know of him- his kindness, generosity, skill, youth, his go at it attitude what more can you say other than he is a pleasure to watch play- he doesn't seem to back off-he just really goes at a golf course!!! It will be a joy to watch him for many years to come!!! ~as of 4-8-2001 he's done it again! He has won the Masters for a second time! This now makes all four majors back to back!!!~another NEW record! (USOpen,British Open, PGA Championship and the Masters) Next....
On the "ladies" side I like Anika Sorrenstam and I'm sure I haven't spelled her name correctly. She too is one of the "younger" players and is exciting to watch when she is "on". |
