Does anybody actually look at About Me pages? I usually don't. Oh well...in case anyone does...this page is about me!

Hey all! My name's Susie Raisher. I'm a 18-year-old college freshman. I attend the University of Arizona, where I am an animal sciences major (Race Track option, naturally!).  I've been an avid racing fan since I was 8. In the summer of 2000, I started to work at a farm near me for horses on layup. Every day I spend there is truly one of the most rewarding of my life.  When you're surrounded by great horses and great people, you never stop learning.  My favorite book is Jane Smiley's Horse Heaven (read it...NOW!). My favorite trainer is Aidan O'Brien.  In the United States, I favor Bill Mott, Allen Jerkens, Christophe Clement, D. Wayne Lukas, Todd Pletcher, Simon Bray, and Janine Sahadi.  I love basketball, although I no longer play. My favorite team is the UNC Tar Heels, despite attending the U of A.  My favorite bands are Fenix *Tx, The Starting Line, Something Corporate, New Found Glory, The Movielife, Goldfinger, Zebrahead, Sugarcult, Mest, Oleander, The Beatles, etc. I'm proud to be Trolly the II and a Sped (don't bother asking).  I am also a big time supporter of Kids to the Cup, and I've been a member of it since it started.
