The Book of Failure

10:1

FishGod did cast down his eyes and did say, "But sometimes, thou shalt fail.
10:2

"Verily, unlike some other religions, I shall not tell thee that thou shalt always succeed. Verily, at times thou shalt fall on thine as, and behold this pleaseth FishGod, for It Is Not Funny Until Somebody Gets Hurt.

10:3

"But thou shalt take refuge in thine faith when thou doest screw up. Behold the fish, who liveth his life in a damn bowl. His life is not happy but he is, for he doth not lose sight of what he hath, which namely is a little castle.

10:4

"Behold, each of thee hath a bowl in which thou art trapped, but also a castle which thou mayest rule. ea, do many of thee have little plastic SCUBA men which do faultlessly point thee to visions of the outside world.
10:5 "I say unto thee, fortify thine castle and purify it to mine use, that I may abide therein. For thou sleepeth not in thine castle unless thou art dead, in which case I probably cannot help thee.
10:6 "But while thou swimmeth in thine bowl and do knock thine head against the glass in anger, let me inhabit thine castle and provide thee a home which thou mayest loook at and know that thine cage is also thine kingdom.
10:7 "And when thou art picked on by thien fellow fish, thou mayest retire to thine castle, for it shall withstand fishy politics (which is redundant)."
10:8 And this did cheer FishGod up.
