Good Morning Reality Concert Chronology

1998

-02/28/98  Philadelphia, NY                                                    801 Civic Center
     SETLIST: Filk / Tribbles 'n Bits / Burnout / Sociable / Everlong / Filler / Mr. Greene / Overlap / Translucent
Notes: First show consisting mainly of originals. The name of the band was changed to Pills Bury Buddhas from Pillsbury Buddhas. First time "Everlong" by Foo Fighters is attempted and the first time "Filler" is played live.

-03/13/98  Philadelphia, NY                                      Theater of the Performing Arts

     REHEARSALS: Overlap (2x) / Filler
     SETLIST: Overlap / Filler
Notes: Indian River High School Talent Show, played as Pills Bury Buddhas.  Decent versions of "Overlap" and "Filler" for the time period.  Besley ran out on stage during the solo of "Overlap" with JIGU written on his chest.

-06/06/98  Antwerp, NY                                                              House Party

SETLIST: Filk / Tribbles 'N Bits / Overlap / Translucent / Butterflies / Mr. Greene
Notes: Not a very good show, lots of equipment failure plus the drums fell apart during "Mr. Greene".  First and only time "Butterflies" by Foo Fighters was played.  I think this was the first show as Alkutezio.

-08/13/98  Philadelphia, NY                                     Philadelphia Bar and Restaurant

SETLIST: Overlap / Smells Like Teen Spirit / Tribbles 'n Bits / Rut / Last Saturday / How I Miss You / Filler / Translucent
Notes: First show as a three-piece, Josh had quit the band after the last show.  First time "How I Miss You" by Foo Fighters, "Rut", and "Last Saturday" are played live.  "Overlap" and Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" feature a guy from the bar on drums.

-10/30/98  Philadelphia, NY                                                              Garage

     SETLIST: Filk / Translucent / Mr. Greene / Overlap / Filler / How I Miss You / Rut / Everlong / Sappy / Due / Concerned / Talk to Me / About a Girl / Last Saturday
     ENCORE: A Night Like This / O'Neill
Notes: First show with Scott on drums, but only on select songs.  The band was called the Booduhs for this show only.  First time "Due" and "Concerned" were ever attempted, still in very early stages.  "O'Neill" is played live for the first time.  The Cure's "A Night Like This" and Nirvana's "Sappy", "About a Girl", and "Talk to Me" are played for the first time as well.  Many covers in this set, making it a very strange show.  Very cold out too...
