This page has been dedicated to countering the lies and rumours of MP3 music. Some of these rumours are extremely stupid and some are cleverly disguised. The dumbest so far was started by a reputable person. They claim MP3's are illegal. Load of bull. You are NOT downloading anything by using these codes. The information is transferred through the coding of the HTML from my server to play in the pages you placed the code in. After your computer is turned off or shut down, the information is deleted and required reloading with the next playing of the song. Do not believe the lies of others, for they know zilch about international laws and the process of the internet. "Stop the MIDIs" Project Reasons to NOT use MIDI files. 1) MIDI music is very annoying -  Imagine this, you go into a shop because they have some item for cheap that you need. Before you can scroll down trying to find that item, the background music begins to play. All of a sudden, your speakers blare out this annoying repetition of beeping noises. You quickly exit the shop. -  Yeah, that's what I do. The beeping really gets to me. MP3 files have no beeping and have the real sounds. The original should be played, not the fake beeping one. Usually, the beeping is louder than the other instrumental music. It just bugs me and I know others too. 2) MIDI music loads too fast -  You go into a shop and in less than 5 seconds (well, depends on your modem), the song begins to play. You haven't even gotten the chance to start scrolling yet and the music blares out. - MP3 files take longer to load, but in my opinion, that's better. I usually have my CD playing and when I go into a shop and the song cuts off my CD, it annoys me. 3) MIDI is not what you expect - When a banner in a shop suggests that there is music, you expect it to be the real song with the artist singing. Instead, you are greeted with this loud and annoying beeping. Not my idea of nice. 4) MIDI is a ripoff of the real song - When an artist makes a song, he or she wants that original to play. They want their voice to be heard. Otherwise, why sing at all? But with MIDI, you never get to hear how good an artist sings. You hear electronically generated beeping. Wee... 5) MIDIs' are boring - Take a song from my selections. Let's use "Dip It Low" for an example. Instead of the actually tones of the voice which generate different emotions, you hear beeps. Christina Milian in "Dip It Low" starts out with a soothing voice in the beginning and later picks up the pace with a faster tempo. Her voice generates this image of excitement and relaxation. In MIDI form, you get beeping with changing volumes. You don't really get the same picture as the real song gives. 6) Almost everyone hates MIDIs' - Sure, they load faster, but that's the only benefit. MIDIs' are annoying and stupid. The reason I opened this site was to provide more choice than MIDIs'. 7) MP3s' are not illegal - Bill Clinton's Internet Act 46.274.56 - Read and weep, MP3s' are legal.
