Rally Raid (This game is a very basic old school space shooter. I didn't care for it much since the game was way too hard. There was no way to dodge the bullets that I died almost every 10 seconds. If this was an arcade game I would have spent a fortune just trying to complete stage one. Also the bonuses that gave you energy for your special weapons looked too much like the enemy flak. The graphics were fairly good for this type of game and the skewed perspective seemed to fit nicely. I didn't, however, like the sketch-like graphics. It gave the game an unpolished feel to it. But like any "interactive story book", your enjoyment in the game stems down to if you enjoy reading lots of text. The game is essentially a carbon copy of rollercoaster tycoon except that you manage a ski resort. The icons almost seem the same, the layout of the menus, you definitely get a sense of deja vu while playing it. That's not a bad thing, Rollercoaster Tycoon was a great game, and this game, while not capturing the feeling, still gives you a few addicting hours of setting up ski hills and restaurants etc. I guess the best form of flattery is imitation, but I'm still suprised that Ski Resort Tycoon doesn't get a visit from Microprose's lawyers!)

Superbikes 2001 (cool motorbike racing game. Great graphics and awesome crash animations. You could have up to 25 bikes on the field at one time. It also allowed the computer to take over and help in the braking, etc.)
Game Rating: 75 %
SuperChix 76 (not a bad racing game...the physics and damage modeling was totally non existent..I did like the sound effects on the tracks...When you made a sharp turn on gravel..it sounded like gravel. I also like some small effects they added like when your car drives into the water at the beach.)
Game Rating: 50 %
Super Blackjack (blackjack game that seemed to be quite rigged...the computer made me hit..or stay..or double down...and I would always lose!)
Game Rating: 19 %
Super Brickanoid v1.0 (arkanoid meets shoot em up. Instead of just nailing blocks with your paddle, your paddle would shoot lasers. You had an assortment of bad guys that would fire at you and hidden power ups would be located in certain coloured blocks. The game was a unique concept, however, there wasn't enough variation to keep you coming back. Plus the power ups got to be so good, that the end of level "Boss" was way too easy.)
Game Rating: 42 %
Super Bubble Mania 2000 (Arcade type game where you have to break a bunch of bubbles falling from the sky. These bubbles would break up into smaller and smaller pieces..making it harder to dodge them. The levels were quite challenging. Fun for a few minutes of gameplay.)

Super Duper Arcade 1 (collection of small kid games from Humongous Games. One was a freddi fish game where you had to shoot bubbles with a sling to get worms, another had putt putt bouncing a dog from his car to hit balloons. The other two games had you sorting socks and then dodging stuff on a road while collecting cheese. ok games for kids I guess.)
Game Rating: 51 %
Super Huey III (very crappy helicopter arcade game. The object of the game was to complete missions by using the mouse and flying around the map using missiles and cannons to destroy tanks and other vehicles. The graphics were pretty bad and the game chugged using my 3D card. Poor coding I believe because my card works find for other more graphic intensive games. Even the sound was awful. I think I could record better sound with my $10 microphone!)
Game Rating: 29 %
Super League Championship Rugby Manager (As the name implies, this game is a rugby manager. Since I am not a big fan of the sport, I found the game rather boring. Especially since you can't watch your teams play except for a very rudimentary graphic of the field and a small ball that moves denoting where and who has possession. There is also some small commentary but this got so annoying I eventually turned down the sound on my speakers. The music also got annoying and repetitive and you have to listen to it alot since most of your time is spent sifting through menus making trades, training your team, and managing your finances.)

Super Poker 1999 (Just a simple poker game...not really much too it...boring if you aren't betting real money)

Game Rating: 76 %
Super Taxi Driver (technically a rip off of crazy taxi from the arcades except minus the fun, the graphics and the kick ass music. The fun thing about crazy taxi was being able to cut through parks, crash through garbage bins etc. In Super Taxi Driver, there are invisible walls that seem to block your way, your car goes super slow and the music is nothing. This game just plain sucks!)
Game Rating: 44 %

SWAT (This is technically police quest 5 and the game is basically a full motion video type game. Gameplay involves watching a clip, clicking in a direction, mirroring for suspects, etc and then watching the resulting video unfold. The only reason I liked it was that it reminded me of a choose your own adventure game and it didn't always play out the same. In one mission you could be assigned to rear containment, rear guard, or sniper. Each of these missions has certain responsibilities. The game is too hard in some aspects where if you don't radio, mirror or move properly the mission becomes a failure.)

Swivellers Cribbage v1.22 (simple crib game which was quite fun. The different thing about this crib game was you actually had to count your own points. Game Rating: 61 %
Taco Maker Marathon (another game made to promote Taco Bell. In this one you have to push the different ingredients on to a conveyor belt to make the taco and dodge hot peppers that are chasing you. This game is pretty basic and going up and down the ladders is harder than it should be.)

Tech Bike Freestyle (Activision value game which wasn't very fun. Supposedly you can do a variety of moves to attract sponsors and enter more courses. I couldn't pull hardly any moves off without crashing. I found the animation to be very poor and when I did pull a stunt off it was unspectacular. If you like these types of games, get Tony Hawks Pro Skater. The graphics, animation, courses and controls are much better.)
Game Rating: 55 %
Tech Deck Snowboarding (I swear I played this game before. It's from Activision Value aka Head Games so I imagine they just repackaged an old game, added a few new people and that's it. Yes, I am a loser for playing this stupid game!)

Tetcolor v1.2 (a tetris game..but the blocks are in different colors so it affects gameplay greatly. You can get rid of blocks with diagonal matches of 3 blocks as well. The engine didn't seem to be the greatest because sometimes blocks would fall when you got matches...other times they would hang in mid air..causing quite a bit of trouble for the player)
Game Rating: 19 %
TetFun 2000 World Championship.v1.7 (tetris game...pretty fun since they let you use bombs when you got a certain amount of lines. I like that option. They also allowed you to play regular tetris or pentax which just gave you some more weird shapes.)
Game Rating: 48 %
Tetrimania Master (just your plain jane tetris clone...though it was kinda fun for a few minutes of play. But nothing to distinguish it from the pack)

Thandor The Invasion (rts game with some fairly decent graphics. Weird thing about it was that control used the left mouse button instead of the right to move units. It took awhile to get use to. The game was ok, with researching new weapons being a big part, but the computer always seemed to be ahead of me. After the first few missions, I was hopelessly playing a defensive alamo situation which sucked any amount of fun that I did have at the starting.)
Game Rating: 73 %
The Adventures of Sprinky (should be called the adventures of "Springy" since you played this coil which would bounce around the screen trying to collect umbrellas. Game Rating: 67 %
The Broken Land (This is essentially just a diablo clone with poor graphics. The concept of just clicking on monsters, clicking on monsters and then more clicking on monsters got real old fast. It was especially since the monsters weren't varied and they kept repopulating the level. You had choice of four characters each with a different combat style. It didn't really affect the gameplay at all because like I said before, all you do is click. This game sucks! :))

The Game of Sevenss v2.1 (card game where you began laying a seven down...and had to get rid of cards...I played as Archie..but Betty won)
Game Rating: 29 %
The Gift (3rd person platform type game...the graphics were quite nice. The game has you controlling this little teletubby type character around and eventually trying to win the marriage of a princess. I didn't get that far because these games eventually frustrate me too much. However I did like a feature it had for when your character jumps in the air, a small x follows on the ground where he is going to land. This is very useful for the multitude of jumping puzzles that these game inevitably have.
Game Rating: 60 %
The Grinch (platform game based on the movie by the same name. This game totally blows. For one thing...I coudn't get my 3D card to work with an acceptable framerate..Why? The Outforce (rts game in space. The intro was quite disappointing. I was hoping for some exciting twist but it ends up the humans are the diplomats trying to stop a galactic war. Anyways, the game reminded me someone like star trek armada. However, I found out awfully quick that most of your base structures, turrets and ships can be destroyed in 1 shot. Therefore the tank rushes style tactics of old could get you in a world of trouble. It left room for more strategic playing but alas, I like my rts games to let me send my men to the meat grinder!)
Game Rating: 69 %
Theocracy (real time strategy game...graphics reminded me of Age of empires which is a good thing. The problem was I didn't really understand the grand scope of the game...you are supposed to be able to attack, trade, etc with other provinces, but I couldn't figure it out. It also took ages for you slaves to build one building..so that was a little disconcerting)

There are more career choices and animations. I liked it but I had a hard time keeping my sims happy. I used the cheat codes to get 1,000 simoleons and outfitted all the gadgets in my house. My sims were still unhappy so it shows you that money can't buy happiness!)

The Typing of the Dead (This game was surprisingly quite fun. It was exactly like House of the Dead 2. The levels and monsters were almost exactly the same but with a twist. It was a blast to play and actually did help my typing skills.)

The graphics are starting to look dated although Laura's animation still looks great (among other things ;)) She had a few new tricks up her sleeve that I noticed from being able to climb around corners, to being able to walk on a tightrope. Only thing I didn't like was that you could only be armed with a certain amount of "moves" at one time. I would rather like to build a move list of 60 or so and then go while out there on the track, oh well, maybe in part 3.)

You were also supposed to be able to slow and speed yourself up. No matter what button we pressed, I couldn't slow or go faster and eventually the game would end because "a missile would get through). Ultima Online Renaissance (This is an expansion version of Ultima online which adds new areas to explore. The only catch with Ultima online like Everquest is that you have to pay a monthly subscription fee. You can get around it by joining some free servers but these aren't as populated. I thought it was quite fun but the interface is starting to show its age. The game also is tedious in parts. For instance, many people mine ore to be forged into weapons so they can get some money and this is a very boring and long process. The game has also two social brackets, the haves and the have nots. Everyone pays the same money to play the game but half are prancing around on their war horse in their new gold plate armour while other players beg in the street or camp at a house waiting for it to collapse so they can get a home. Y2K- The Game (adventure game where the main character is a computer geek....the graphics were nice with the player able to look around the room in any direction by clicking on the right mouse button. The main character was very annoying and we got stuck early on because we couldn't find the pixel of the hotspot we needed to click on)

Zeus- Master of Olympus (The is an empire building game based on the same engine as Pharoah. I liked this game more because for some reason I was able to build up my community better. There didn't seem to be the same emphasis of having lots of water around as in the Pharoah game. By making avenues for roads, my housing grew quite nicely. There was also a neat twist of having to accomplish certain missions. For example in the scenario I tried, we had to kill a Hydra. This could only be done with a hero so I had to make a Hero place to try to attract Zeus to battle the monster. He would only come if you city had certain requirements like gymnasiums, culture, a certain amount of wine, etc.)
