Toasted Pumpkin Seeds

Ingredients/Supplies:     Pumpkin
                                      Paper Towels
                                      Cookie sheet sprayed with cooking oil

Instructions: 
1. Cut open pumpkin, scoop out seeds.
2.  Wash seeds well under cold water and let dry on paper towels.
3.  Spread dried, clean seeds onto sprayed cookie sheet.
4.  Bake for approximately 1 hour in 250 degree preheated oven. 
     Shake a few times. Turn up heat in last five minutes to brown
     slightly iif they haven't browned on their own.
5.  Remove from oven, cool, salt if desired.
                    
Enjoy!!  Store leftovers in an airtight container.

Bug Guts!

Ingredients:  6 ounces butterscotch chips
                    1 cup peanuts
                    3 cups chow mein noodles
                    wax paper

Directions:  In a double boiler, melt the butterscotch chips.  Remove from heat, stir in peanuts.  Place chow mein noodles in a large bowl, pour in butterscotch/peanut mixture over the top.  Stir well. Crop mixture onto waxed paper using a teaspoon. Cool and give these "disgusting" treats to the kids!

Vampire Breath Punch

Mix together 8 cups of cranberry juice, 6 cups of sparkling apple cider, and 6 orange slices for some rosy punch that is "fang"tastic!!!

Go Eat Worms Delight

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Core 12 large apples and stuff each hole with a teaspoon of jam and butter (Your favourite flavour will do).  Place in pan, and cook for 35 to 45 minutes (until tender, not too mushy!). Re-move from oven, let cool.  After cooled, take 12 gummy worms and place one in each apple so that you can only see half of it's body poking out.
GROSS DUDES!!!

Monster Blood (The Real Recipe from Goosebumps)

(Pass this recipe from Mummy to Daughter and from Phantom to Son)

1. Place 3 tablespoons of cornstarch in a bowl.
2. Slowly add 3 tablespoons of cool water, stirring
constantly.
3. Add food colouring one drop at a time, until desired colour is achieved. (As most people know, the blood of healthy monsters is green. However, don't be afraid to experiment with other creepy colour combos.
