| This playful little page will guide you throughout my website. It is my intention that Gramma Didi's will always be in a state of construction as it is my desire for these pages to be ever-changing. I apologize in advance for problems with some of the pages. I am aware of the situation and I am feverishly working on correcting things as well as working on new pages. Sadly, a huge number of my pages were deleted by Bravenet and Rogers including my cancer pages and the memorial pages to my deceased husband. I am trying to re-vamp as well as update and replace, so please bear with me. If there are pages you want to view and cannot, feel free to email me for information. I have replaced my 'To My Mother' and 'Mother's in Heaven' pages. If you have been here before then you know that some of my pages are either graphic intense and contain music files, so please be patient if you have a slower connection speed. I am working at reducing loading times, but with the deletion of so many pages, it might take me awhile. Please bear with me! Cancer in the Family: In July, 2002 my husband of nearly 10 years was diagnosed with gastric cancer. Read about the events leading up to his diagnosis, subsequent surgery results, how we have dealt with things afterwards, ongoing treatment (chemotherapy) information, inspirational cards, letters, poems, and much, much more. This section is meant to address the lack of INITIAL emotional support and information given to cancer patients and their families as well as to educate/help others. We also would like to strongly urge physicians who have patients with pernicious anemia to routinely test for gastric cancer, one of the most painful, agressive cancers there is.
