Pull up a chair, grab whatever you would like to drink and get comfortable. This is my page. A place where I can do and say whatever I like. (within reason, of course)

I wanted to make a page so that I could put what I wanted on it. I have made some very nice friends while working on Frank's genealogy. I have joined some clubs whose members have become my friends. When I run into trouble, they are there. I can always count on them, which means so much to me. Some might say that I'm addicted. Am I? Maybe. Do I mind? Not in the least. I have found so much enjoyment that I can't find the words to describe it. I guess you would have to be me to know.

The one thing I don't want to hear is someone complaining about how much time I spend at what I love doing. I don't tell you what to do, so I would like the favor returned to me.

To all my classmates that I have made contact with since being on the computer, I must say how great it is. If I do get off track and not write, jangle my chains and let me know. I have made contact with you again, and don't want to lose it again.

Also on my page, I am going to list some of my friends homepages. They have done a great job, and I have learned a lot from reading their pages. I also think they should be shown as much as possible because they are so beautiful. Some are made by using a program and some are made by your own hands using codes. But, that's alright. When I first started making my pages, I used a program as well, but when I got help, (of course I'm talking about CJ) she tried to encourage me to learn HTML so that I could correct my own pages. Well, that does sound funny now, because after another year gone by, I am learning how to make HTML pages. Whitemoonraven, or Raven as we call her, is my teacher. So far, all of my pages are on Yahoo. This is also where my clubs and my friends are.

One last thing that I would like to mention are the people who were an inspiration to me and also helped me in many ways. The first club I joined was CJ's Genealogy Corner and the founder is CJ. She is a person who would go out of her way to help you, and it didn't make any difference what you needed. We have become very close friends and she also made me a founder in her club last March, 2001. Plus, we have such great members who help each other and me. Another club that I feel very close to is the California Genealogy Club. They have four founders, Genzoli, HubCal, Shejag and Whitemoonraven. As you will see in my list, many have also made their own clubs or groups, but never leave their first club CGC. I am also a founder in a founders club that we have made involving a growing list of clubs and groups. We have also joined a web ring, hosted by Coolrogue1. It is a ring of genealogy clubs and groups. We even put out a monthly newsletter called "Clubs Go Round".

One thing I should mention that amazes me, is the fact that these members are spread all over the world. That's right, all over the World. I find that so amazing. I was talking to a member in Australia just last night. Also, genzoli was helping me last night, and she lives in California. You just have to watch for your time zones. lol
