Some of the early history of the Reece Morgan family is from recollections
of Frances.
Frances joined the Christian Church at about age 20 and was
a ``staunch believer in the plea and principles of the Disciples of Christ.''
Frances' mother, Barbara Lutz, was married twice --- the first time to John Ray.
John was a brother to James Brown Ray, an early governor of Indiana.
John Ray froze to death, and Barbara remarried to David Thompson.
David Thompson was a son of Aaron Thompson and Rachael Clark. Rachael
was said to be daughter of either a daughter or niece of Benjamin Franklin.
