Halloween! Fun... parties... dress-up... lots of candy! Doesn't everybody love Halloween? I do, but I live out in the country so we don't get "goblins" at our door like people do in the cities and towns. See my house? It looks haunted. Don't you just expect those peering eyes to be ghosts? Would you knock on my door for treats? Go ahead; knock on the door of my haunted house with your cursor and you will be transported inside! You'll even find some places to go on the internet for Halloween games and costumes ideas and more! Don't forget to come back though. |
The above link for Columbus Day has activities for kids. Here's another site where you can learn all about Christopher Columbus! Don't forget to change your clocks back an hour earlier on October 28! The old saying for remembering the "daylight savings time rule" is Spring forward, fall back! Want an explanation of the old pre-Christian origin of Halloween? Find out about it from a kid just like you at Virtual Classroom. For more Halloween sites on the internet, visit granni39's Holiday Home. |
