| I bought the car in April 2001, a 1995 Camaro Z28, originally with a 6-speed manual transmission but now its an automatic. It was intended to be a daily driver but that soon changed after I took it to the track one night and it ran a horrible 15.032 @ 91.65mph (bad driver). So I bought a few mods for it but you know how these things go............... |

| Every year I've tried to do a little bit to it to make it faster. First it was minor bolt-ons to get me to 13.685 @ 100.00mph. Then came more bolt-ons with a mild cam and gears to get me to 12.616 @ 110.33mph. Now its got a big cam, ported heads an automatic transmission with lots of stall and gear. I'm currently working on getting it into the 11s. Right now its best 1/4 mile time is 11.703 @ 117.79mph. It makes 408 horsepower at the wheels and 400 ft/lbs of torque. It also weighs 3430lbs. With that power to weight ratio Iits more than capable of running low 11s with the right suspension. And its still a daily driver. |
