| ![]() is a native of Greensboro, NC, where he was
educated at JC Price and James B. Dudley High Schools. He later
attended Greensboro Bible College. He was united in marriage on April
26, 1965 to Angeline Jenkins from which they birthed 3 children:
Reginald, Felicia, & Tasha. They curently are the proud
grandparents of 4 grandchildren; Shydasha, Abrielle, D'varian, and
Renysia. Bishop Wall received salvation in 1974 and since then has
faithfully dedicated his life to the building of God's kingdom. Under the leadership of Pastor Monroe Fuller, he was ordained in the office of deacon
at New Cedar Grove Baptist Church in 1979. Two years later, in
1981, he accepted the call into ministry. In 1984, he became an
ordained minister and shortly thereafter was installed pastor of Elon
First Baptist Church - Morgan Place. He faithfully served there
for 20 years, accomplishing many successful endeavors, even those
deemed as impossible. Of those, some of the most notable include:
the 1986 groundbreaking of the new edifice (whose mortgage was paid in
full in less than 5 years), 2 new church vans (Grace & Mercy), a
myriad of church renovations, several new ministries, a ministerial
alliance, and the inception of the Elon Bible Institute & Training
Schools (EBITS). On Decembr 8 of 2001, Pastor Wall was ordained
the first Bishop of a Baptist Church in Alamance County, making
history. Since then, the church was officially installed into the
Greater Church of Deliverance, Incorporated under the direction and
leadership of Bishop Freddie B. Marshall. Bishop Wall was
designated as the Diocesan Prelate of the 5th Diocese, under which
there are 3 churches Pastored by: Bishop Willie Pearce, Pastor
Sharon Greene, and Pastor Jesse Britt, all of Greensboro, NC. In
October of 2004, he founded Greater
Hope Cathedral in Burlington, NC where he is the current Senior Pastor.
Bishop and the congregation moved to their new location: 1032 E.
Lindsay Street Greensboro, NC on the first Sunday in September of 2006.
