Well, it's 18 miles to run this weekend.  I had a good 8 mile run last weekend and a great 16 miler the weekend before that.  I was starting to worry because some of my earlier runs were not so great.  I was having lots of doubts and lots of aches and pains.  My knee was hurting.  My calf muscles were feeling tight.  I thought maybe I had reached my training limit.  But I took a few days off and ran the 16 miler nice and easy and had one of my best runs in a long time.  Finished it  in
3 hours and 9 minutes -- only 4 minutes over the time I was supposed to have finished. 
I'm looking forward to the 18 miles on Sunday.  I hope the weather will be in our favor.  The early mornings have stayed nice and cool the past couple weeks.  Keep your fingers crossed!
