History of the Food Festival
The Greek Food Festival has a long history.  Before, it was not always held at the church.  Instead, there were stands from our church at various events selling Greek food.  For example, the Greek Food Festival took place at the popular Fine Arts Fiesta in Wilkes-Barre for a few years.  However, the church later decided that profits would be better if food festivals were held at the church.

The food festivals at the church usually took place the same day as the church flea markets.  Currently, the church flea markets are not being held, but they may be held again in the future.

The members of the church hold food festivals at the church twice a year.  Each food festival proves to be more successful than the one preceding it.  More and more people get on the mailing list.  Also, people are now able to get on the e-mail address list.  For information about the mailing list and e-mail address list, please click

So come to a food festival and be a part of its history!
