Rafters Cup Rules
Individual who finishes with the most wins is champ.  In the case of a tie for first in win category, the player with the most points-for is champ.  See 1996 for an example of a most points-for champion.
If there is a tie in wins and points, three more games are played in traditional rotation, with those three added to the first six games.  The best record would win, unless there is another tie, in which case three more games would be played.  The process would be repeated until a champ is crowned.
10 year rule:  If a player ever wins ten Cups in a row he will have earned the right to rename the Cup whatever he wants.  Conversely, if a player losses ten Cups in a row, the other three have the right to change his nameplates on the Cup to whatever they want.
No bottoms, no partners best, screw dealer.
Play-it-out rule: The first two tournaments featured games that only went to ten points.  With the introduction of the play-it-out rule in 1998, winning teams could score as high as 13 points.  ex. A team with nine points going alone on the final hand and winning all five tricks would finish with 13 pts.
Six games of euchre are played annually.  Each player is partnered with another player twice using the traditional Rafters Cup rotation:
Games 1 and 4:  Andrew/Paul vs. Mike/Eric
Games 2 and 5:  Paul/Mike vs. Andrew/Eric
Games 3 and 6:  Eric/Paul vs. Mike/Andrew
