| The anniversary of Gregorian Study Circle was
held in Houston on 12th December at 6:00 pm. About sixty people from culturally
diverse communities attended the meeting. Rev. M.O. Oommen presided over the meeting. HG Mar Geevarghese Coorilos inaugurated the event. He let us see the various aspects of the towering personality of HG Paulos Mar Gregorios, and also he talked about the relevance of a forum like Gregorian Study Circle to keep his vision alive. Mr. Sasidharan Nair, Rev. John Mckenzie, Dr. Thanmoy Chakravarthy, Dr. Anand Chattergie and Mr. Varghese Kottickal gave felicitation speeches. Mr. Oommen George and Mr. Peter Paulose recited poems related to the vision of Mar Gregorios. Mrs. Jessy Sabu sang a song. The meeting unanimously accepted the resolution presented by Dr. Molly Mathew. John Kunnathu read a report of the activites of Gregorian Study Circle in the past year. Mr. Bose Punnoose gave the welcome speech, and Mr. George Mannikarot said the vote of thanks. Mr. Sabu Punnoose and family helped with refreshments, Mr. David George helped with Videographing the event.
