Frame out for painting , you can see how the tracks can be removed as a stand alone assembly, to work on the brakes or fuselage of the M7.
Now in its new colour the M7 starts to come together with front end, engine, tranny, steering, and dash now back in the painted frame.

Rons M7
Author's M7
Here is Ken's award winning M7 . Green you say? Well if you look in the M7 variants page you will see a wheeled M7. It is painted olive drab . So its not unique, there are rumours about that the army tried to us the M7 as a prime mover for light weight artillery or antitank guns. Also that they tested it in Florida for that purpose. If this is true then olive drab would have been the order of the day. Besides which, Ken likes green so that is its colour. Works for me.
