Yes it is a M7 with wheels. Though not a variant in the true sense of the word the U.S. Army , always on the search for better mobility, had this unit converted. The idea behind this test was the thought that changing the ground pressure constantly would result in better mobility. To this end the four tires on the rear of the M7 were none concentric or oval and were placed on the spindles at different orientations.
