OTHER M7 VARIANTS
M7 with steel framed wood cover
The M7 above ,#103, has what looks to be a professional salon car top on it. The angle iron frame inside has been bent in large machines to provide the "Bombardier" like curve at the rear. All the machine screws are flush mounted and the top is of slat and canvas construction like the older cars. The manufacturer even went so far as to put a single red light on the back above the rear window for following vehicles ? If I were to guess I would say it was a military conversion due to the quality and obvious expense. It also has a gas heater added. Makes me wonder if the Canadian Military got hold of this unit and had the ombardier company refit it... ?
Right side picture lets you see the  planning and care taken to assemble the top. Note the radiused corners of the windows and the slight rake of the front to either side of the drivers window. Also the reflectors and faded black stripe around the middle call attention to the detail.
