Come and Feast with us on His Word
Below you will find monthly devotions.  We will provide you with a Bible verse, and some questions referring to that verse each week.  Before you begin you may wish to whisper a prayer to God asking him to place you in the right frame of mind so that his words will make a difference in your life.  Here is an example of a prayer you may use:
Lord-
Open my heart and my mind.  Give me insight into your words, and guide me so that I may see where in my life I need the wisdom of your word.
In The Name Of Jesus Christ, My Lord, I Ask This-
AMEN

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be
filled.

Matthew 5:6

1)  Where do I go when I thirst or hunger for righteousness?
2)Why do I, or why don't I think, I hunger for righteousness?
3)  How will I be fulfilled, and stay fulfilled?
4)  Who will fulfill me?
5)  What do I do when I hunger and thirst for righteousness?
6)  When will I know that I am experiencing these hunger and thirst pangs, and when will I know I have been fulfilled?

Nourishment for the Body
Soul Food
                  RECIPE FOR A              MIRACLE
1 cup Tension
2 cups Stress
1 teaspoon of Guilt
2 heaping cups of Limited Time
3/4 tablespoon of Urgency
A dash of "No Other Choice"
3 heaping cups of Faith

Fold ingredients gently into a bowl. Mix vigorously and add a few tears.
You'll sweat a little as you knead the dough. Pack it firmly between your
hopes and dreams and form into a perfect little ball. Sprinkle it with a
little faith, rolling the ball in the flour until fully covered. Place it
under a veil of belief and allow it to rise. Put it in an oven that has been
pre-set at the perfect temperature for the heat of trials and tribulations.
Allow it to brown under the warmth of God's love. Remove after due season
and allow to cool in the confidence of His promise.Garnish with your praises.
Arrange neatly on a platter of thankfulness and serve to friends, families
and, oh yes, strangers...invite them too! Pass on the recipe to all that
request it. Let them know that with this recipe, they have the makings of a miracle!
After you have completed these devotions you may wish to whisper another prayer to God.  Here's an example of a short prayer you may use:
Lord-
Give me strength to live out your truth in my life.
In The Name Of Jesus Christ, My Lord, I Ask This-
AMEN

You may even begin a prayer journal of your thoughts and feelings about the verse and your communications with God.  Here is an outline you may use when recording in your journal:  1)  Give God Praise 2) Ask for forgiveness 3) Thank him for all he's blessed you with 4) Ask him to fulfill your needs and wants 5) Offer up a prayer based on the devotions you just studied 6) Record how God has answered your prayers.
