15 Feb 06 : A new editing group is formed to co-ordinate content management for the next edition of Guangya Australian Magazine. Team Leader: Ms Gloria Chiu, Editors: Mr Zhongyuan Wu, Mr Jiechuan Zhang, Mr Jianwen Feng (South Australia), Mr Weijian Liu (New Zealand), Mr Saitak Shum (China). The group inherited the publishing experience of GAA and will continue to bring to members fresh, relevant and though provoking contents through a new edition of the Guangya Australian Magazine. The new edition is expected to be published before the Guangya Anniversary this year.
26 Dec 03 : Christmas Surprise Mr Lin, Deputy Principal of Guangya, took a short visit in Australia during the holiday season. Despite the tight schedule and the short notice, Mr Lin managed to meet Guangya alumni on Christmas Day and exchange some ideas with GAA executive on future educational exchange program with educational institutions in Australia. The delegation includes government officials and principals of selected schools and colleges in Guangdong province. Delegates were impressed by the informative meeting with Guangya Australian Alumni and the hospitality they received during their visit in Australia. Give me 5 : Guangya Anniversary 2003, 2 November 2003, A big cheers to Guangya, Guangya alimni in Australia and around the world. Depite the not-so-perfect weather, we managed to have a wonderful celebration along side an Aussie woodfire BBQ. This is the first time we held this annual event outdoor in style. Movie making and photo shooting were just part of the fun we had before the shower set in. Congratulations to those who participated in the event. For those who missed out, here are some images from the event for you. Some photos are being processed and will be available for viewing in later days, so do check back again soon. You are also welcome to place comments in the Message Board.
Guangya Anniversary 2003: 2 November 2003, this year's anniversary will be celebrated in natural and fun style.
Welcoming Reception: 12 October 2003, Guangya Australia hosts a welcoming reception upon the arrival of two Guangya Alumni from China. Both guests, Mr Luo and Mr Zhang, are high achievers in the field of interior design in China.
Guangya Australian Day: 2 October 2002, the 2nd Guangya Australian Day will be held at the Glass House Cafe, the State Library of New South Wales. All welcome.
Fun9: A Fun Night at Channel 9 was held successfully at the Nine Network, Australia's national television network, by the Guangya Australian Association on Wendsday, 7 August 2002. Families and friends participated the event. Some managed to have group photos taken with the funny man at Channel 9's lounge. It was a very entertaining evening for our GAA members, families and friends.
Guangya Australian Day: The 1st Guangya Australian Day was held in the State Library of New South Wales, the founding venue of GAA, on Wendsday, 31 July 2002. Well respected members like Mr Jiarui Zheng, Mr Jiechuan Zhang, Mr Maohui Huang and young talents like Anie Zhao got together in the Glass House Cafe to celebrate the release of the 1st edition of the Guangya Australian. Mr James Young, GAA's Executive VP also attended the event to thank the supporting group for their talents and hard work, which made the publishing of this excellent publication a reality.

Chen Dan is Fine: 11 September 2001, From New York, Chen Dan, member of Guangya's American Alumni is ok. But one of her friend's husband and thousands of innocent people are still missing. Chen Dan had a dinner with us in Sydney early 2001 before travelled to other parts of Australia.
