Dungeons - Great Hall | ||||||||||||||||||||
The Great Hall shown on this page consists of separate wall, corner and floor pieces and an entrance that connects to a wide corridor. By using separate wall and floor modules the size and shape of the hall are flexible. I'm still working on a second hall with slightly different features, such as walls with niches, and an entrance that connects to a narrow corridor. That way, I can either use a large hall in a larger variety of shapes, or two smaller ones. |

Birds eye view of the Great Hall. The double walls on the near side of the Hall are the rears of niches, shown below. Note the variety in colours and hues. I assume that while the owner of a castle would prefer an eye pleasing visible part of his castle, he wouldn't mind if the builders used all kinds of leftovers and stones rejected for use upstairs. Besides, by the light of the odd torch, who is to know?. |

This is the rear of the Great Hall. As you can see, the center part of the floor is raised as a platform for a throne, for instance. On both sides you can see the niches. I still have some unused Hero Quest figures somewhere, they might end up as statues for those niches - perhaps even statues with special properties, when a scenario calls for it. |
