Guppie Thugs II: Phil, Ryan, Christian, Joe K, Clint.
Competition: MBP, Ruff Ryders, Adrenaline Rush, etc.
Rundown: This edition of TommyGuns tourney was more speedball oriented, with a few preliminary games played on the large grass field. This tournament was composed of 6 preliminary games, 3 semi final games(in 2 divisions), and 3 final games. Both Thug teams amassed enough points to make the semi-finals. GT1 took 3rd overall in the prelims, and GT2 slid into the 8th spot narrowly making the semis. GT1 dominated the semi finals maxing score against the Ruff Ryders. GT2 had a heroic win against Bring It in a 4v2 situation. GT1 moved on to the finals, but GT2 unfortunately missed out by a few points. Fierce competition was to be had in the finals. GT1 was upset by the upstart MBP composed of far too many Schroepfers. Game 2 was a deadlock tie with Adrenaline Rush. The final game against the Ruff Ryders was decided in a 1v1 situation in our favor. Overall, GT1 finished 3rd, just a few points behind #2 MBP, and GT2 finished 6th.
Captains Note: Definitely our the most fun tournament I have participated in. I think the fun we were having showed... especially in the Guppie Civil War games with shouts like "I shot my own brother" and "Aaron you gave me a busted gun!" I was very impressed with GT2's performance overall, and I hope you all take pride in your outstanding performance (they had never even played on the same field before that day). GT1, it's a blast playing with you guys, and although we did not win this tourney (guess you can't win them all), we played very well together. Congrats on a great tourney Guppie Thugs!
