| The owner of this PDW was selling it and wanted a good stamp of approval, that the gun was sound. Admitting the PDW to the SERVICE CENTRE, the gun would get a complete overhaul and any problems would be identified. Dr. AIRSOFT opened up the MP5 and stripped the HOP unit. The barrel was cleaned and the rubber parts were siliconed. Extractning the gearbox (type 3) the motor was inspected and given a clean (contacts and bushes). |

| The gearbox itself had the usual amount of excess grease thrown around the interior. With no wear apparant on any moving part (gears or piston). The internals were degreased and fully cleaned, before a new coat of grease was administered. Closing up the box, it was reinstalled. The motor was refitted and tuned for max ROF and smooth running. The owner was pleased and soon had a buyer, who was happy to know the gun was internally sound..... |
