FAMAS F1

The swivel bipod is heavy and not really very practicle on uneven ground. The Trigger guard is not solid. Noisey to fire (mech is next to your ear!)
The gun feels nice and short and can be easily fired without shouldering it.
SUPERMAS

As the F1, although the plastic handguard is completely solid. Only other differences are the removal of the bipod and remoulding of the handguard. The high caps hold an average amount (300) and are smaller than other equivelants (M16).
The original AEG and still not bettered.  It maybe mainly plastic, but it is solid. It's gearbox offers the highest ROF 1000 rpm while it is very well balanced. Last but not least, it takes a large battery pack...
MP5A4
MP5A4 HG

This classic layout is comfortable to shoulder and manouvre. The fire select is not great and the HOP control is not so hot either. It's stock is a nice length and allows a large battery to be fitted..
MP5A5 HG

This version of the MP5 is very handy, with it's retracting stock. However, this is at the expense of battery capacity.
These 2 MP5's have just recently been updated to "High Grade". This has improved their build quality and durability. They are very handy and great for CQB games.

SNIPER HIDE
MP5 SD5

This is the longest MP series, more like a carbine than an SMG. The barrel ends underneath the front sight (like the A4 and A5). HOP control is external like the A series.

MP5SD6

Like the SD5, this model has a built in silencer and front grip. However, this is also the location of the special SD battery packs (600mah). All of these MP5's are best used with the twin shorty (240 BB's) magazine.
These 2 MP5's have built in silencers that do reduce the muzzle noise. The silencers are made of plastic and add little weight to the guns. Otherwise they are like the A5 and A4. Indeed the magazine well is prone to splitting.

These KURZ or "Short" MP5's use different internals and HOP units. They both use AK battery packs. Using 240 short mags, these are the smallest AEG's available. Yet even with tiny pistol size barrels, they still have great range and good accuracy too.

MP5K PDW

The PDW is a better deal than the K, with it's side folding stock and mud guard/ flas hider. The barrel is a over 30mm longer than the K's giving it a slightly higher muzzle velocity. Although it is just as loud as it'
MP5K
A  viable "back up" for a sniper. Giving great firepower in a tiny package. It's nature is for CQB, being more like a pistol. Yet superior to any GBB. This gun is very loud and indeed can un-nerve opponents under it's fire.
MP5 R.A.S.
MP5 R.A.S.

This "top of range" MP5 is based on the MP5 A5 using the same internals. It's side folding stock is based on the PDW version. The fore handle is removable and adjustable. The 3 RIS rails on the front end allow the fitting of many accessories.
The RAS has a scope rail mounted ontop of the reciever, making for a great shooting position. Although the RED DOT that comes with it, is only of plastic construction and better replaced by a good telescopic sight. Only downside of this model is it's inability to fit a large battery pack.
