G3A3 This assault rifle design, is mainly of plastic constuction comparable to the M16 VN, although heavier. Barrel wobble is not as excessive, but they can still flex. The HOP control is excellent, same as the STYER series. The fire select is similar to the MP range and suffers from being alittle uncomfortable when on automatic, just the same. All of the furniture is olive green. The 500 round high capacity magazines are excellent and do not hinder the firer when prone. G3A4 This G3 variant has a sliding stock similar to the MP5 A5. However, the stock only has 2 positions and is set way too long to be comfortable. The butt plate is curved the wrong way to fit the shoulder. The mini battery is stowed in the large SG1 style front grip. All the G3 series have moulded grips and controls set out only to suit right handed firers. |
G3 SG1 This sniper rifle is fitted complete with bipod and cheek comb. This is designed for use with a scope, however mounts and scope are not supplied. Indeed many SG1's are not used for sniping, but are a common LSW on many sites. Indeed it's combination of large battery and good sized mags, can lay down extended fire. |

MC51 This carbined G3, is layed out like an MP5A5. Indeed the same battery is fitted inside the front grip. This is a great gun for assault players, only let down by the poor ergonomics of the G3A4's extending stock. |

PSG-1 This AEG is the only model to have semi automatic only, as it is designed to be a sniper rifle. It runs at around 10% extra power (out of the box) than any other AEG. The gun has lots of features but is let down by it's massive weight (4.5kg) and bulk. Despite the gun's vast size, it doesn't fit a large battery. Comes complete with TASCO 4X40 scope included. Trigger, pistol grip and cheek comb are all adjustable. HOP control is click stop (unique) and the mechanism works in reverse to other AEG's (fires then cocks). Comes with a 15 round mag, but any G3 mag (70 or 500) fits. |

SIG 550 This rifle is suited to sniping, more than firefighting, due to it's AK (600mah) battery and limited 220 round mags. Though they are clear and can clip together. The furniture is green and it comes with a folding bipod, although it is rather tall. This gun is pretty quiet The controls and ergonomics are not too good. Worse, the side folding stock, is all plastic and prone to breakage at the hinge. Unique to the SIG range is the burst fire feature. This can be set between 2 and 7 rounds whenever the trigger is depressed. This burst circuit is reknown for breaking. The gun still has semi and full auto. |
SIG 551 This black carbine version, is very similar to the 551 model. Except it's shortened muzzle and grips do not house the bipod. HOP controls on these guns are good. The iron sights are fully adjustable. A cheek comb is available for good eye relief, should a scope be fitted. |
STYER AUG (military) This bullpup assualt rifle is designed to have great ergonomics. The front grip folds away (although they are reknown for snapping off). The trigger is a complex design and feels very mechanical. Pull it so far back, for a single shot (semi auto). Then pull it to a second stage for continious full automatic. The rear mounted magazines are clear and high capacity versions hold 330 pellets. HOP controls are like the G3 or SIG and are easy to set. With a couple of buttons, the gun can be quickly field stripped into 3 sections: barrel, scope and reciever. Yet it is solid when reassembled. The MIL version has khaki furniture. It is fitted with a 2 X 15 scope, which is not of the best quality along with open battle sights. STYER AUG (civilian) This version of the above rifle is identical, except the furniture is black. Also the scope is replaced by a weaver rail, onto which iron sights can clipped. This also allows easy fitting of a good quality sight, at low cost. Both rifles take mini batteries in the stock, making the gun somewhat back heavy. Although 8.4v 1500mah custom packs are available that fit. |
