This is the personal web page of Mr. N.G.Bhagavan, a Civil / Structural engineer where his twenty years of experience is unfolded into a pack of semi-technical information capsules on innovative building construction technologies, particularly on a disaster resistant construction system to promote disaster mitigation.

Mr. Bhagavan has graduated with distinction in engineering from Sri Venkateswara University and post graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India.

He has put up more than one and half decades of experience as a scientist in the Structural Engineering Research Centre, Madras. His technical liaison portfolio has given him very broad outlook on the civil engineering needs of India.

Disaster resistant & innovative building construction technologies, and building materials from fly ash & other industrial wastes are identified as very important areas, on which India can put co-ordinated efforts in civil engineering, for very effective development.
