The 70's cult classic "The Hilarious House of Frightenstein" is returning to cable television with an all-new cast! This live action 60 minute show was a fixture on Saturday morning television in Canada and through its combination of variety, humor and educational segments, all flavored with the spice of mock horror, had a lasting impression on the youth of the day. Originally cast were Billy Van (in multiple roles), Fishka Rais (as the loveable Igor) and horror superstar, Vincent Price. Unfortunately, Rais and Price are now deceased. Fishka Rais's only child, Guy Abramovich Rais, has decided to bring back his father's show, promising not to stray from the original material. The trio will be filming the new series before a live audience from locations throughout Canada in 2009. (stay tuned for details!)
Guy Abramovich is a well-known actor in Romania and will be joined by well-known Canadian stage actor's Mark Ignatovsky and Delilah Dumont.
