PAUL STRAND
I have put Paul Strand in the beginning because he marks the beginning of my interest in studying photography extensively.
His  where not the first photos I had seen (naturally), but the first ones that triggered my interest in specializing in photography at the University.
Paul Strand (1890-1976), was one of the first photographers to "take up the visual
problems and approaches which he saw in modern art". As you can witness from the following photos, he held an interest in
geometrical forms and courageously used  space as a form in itself.
