The Long And The Short

Well, for all you die hard fans out there (right) I decided to place some of my longer work on here. You've read my poems, well, these are my essays and short stories. Some of them are serious, while others may have a lighter tone. I don't think I'm as good at this as I am at poetry, but I feel like doing this anyway. Besides, I need to find a way to occupy my time and who knows, maybe some people will actually like it. All the links link to text files because I did not want to type them all out again.

This is a short story based on excerpt fron another, longer story. Maybe some of you will recognize it, may you won't, either way, I enjoyed writing it and i still enjoy going back and reading it.

This is my essay on William Golding's Lord of the Files. Not my favorite, but I got a good mark on it, so i'm not complaining.

Here's a heavy read based on an article in Harper's magazine. It's basically about the expectations of students to be entertained instead of being taught.
