My Mad Mumblings
Ahh, my mad mumblings. Here are thoughts that pop into my head at times. Each entry has it's own appeal, it's own eccentricity, and it's own dimentia. They are my theories on the world around us, my opinions on the souls within us, and my interpretations of things both tangible and intangible. Most won't be grammatically correct because I just don't really bother with that stuff on this page, but they should still be understandable. I hope your mind is open and your ready for my hand to close it. keep a tight hold on reality only if you don't want to experience the true nature of these pages. Most are meant to induce feelings, and the best way to ruin them is to think too much while you're reading. Feel first, analyze after. I'll try and leave you with a bang so that you may more easily return to your chair. Keep the dream alive, but don't live the dream.

what happens to dead feelings? are they just lost and forgotten never to be released from thier cages ever again? or do they settle down and continue on, forming who we are. why do they continue? we go through and we hide, but they are always seen. we wear them on our faces, yet people never see. why? too many times in too many places all too often. they always throw them away without a second glance. never again. they are far to precious to toss away without thinking. left in the cold. forgotten. tossed into the void that each of us hold so dear, and yet fear with all that we are. never again.

here's and oldie but goodie...how do we know that all the sane people aren't insane and the people who are called insane aren't the only sane ones in the world? it's all relative. rule by majority, right? mob rule? this thought is actually a bit more stuctured than most. i would like to hear what people have to say about this. so if you have anything to say, please say it. i think i'm a little crazy. i'm not going to say that everyone is a little crazy in their own way because that's for them to decide. i know that i can be strange at times...very strange in fact. i know that i think of things differently than most other people...does that make me insane? what makes us cross that thin line between genius and insanity? what if some of our great minds were locked up in insane asylums never to release thier secrets only because we didn't understand them? scary thought...and what if a 'crazy' person was just allowed to walk the streets being mistaken for a genius? i think that's why people become abstract artists...the inborn ability to be a genius lies dormant for fear of being labeled insane. make any sense? think about it. let me know.

I haven't had the chance to write this down yet so now's my chance. Some of you know this and some of you don't, but I have a theory on growth. Just a 'what if' if you know what I mean. there's no real support for this, but I still like it. You see, we don't really 'grow' we simply don't shrink. Get it? Well, right now as we speak/read, the whole entire universe is shrinking. that's why they say that the universe is constantly growing. In actuality, matter itself is shrinking giving the appearance of an expanding universe. So, back to growth. As I said, we don't grow, we simply do not shrink. Oh sure, we change form as we get older. Our head gets smaller and stuff and we change proportionally, but that simply because different parts of our body are being resistant to shrinking at different rates. SO, while the rest of the world is busy shrinking, young people are resistant to the shrinking that other people are less resistant to.Nothing is completely resistant to shrinking, but some are just more so than others. Now, as we get older, our body gets tired of fighting the shrinking process so it begins to give in little by little until we are shrinking at the same rate as everything else. Do you almost get it now? Well if you don't, just hang in there and read it over : ) don't feel bad, either, it took me a while to understand it, too. I think this is going to be an expanding theory as time goes on.I'll do that later.

This is an expansion of the above theory. Rember the dormant genius ability born in all of us? Yeah, that, well, let's expand and talk about that. How would this happen, you ask? Well, if you were a semi-intelligent person back in the days when they were doing some horrific things to mental patients and you saw many intelligent people being sent to insane asylums and such, would you want to flaunt your intellect around for anyone to see? Of course you wouldn't! You would do your best to hide it, wouldn't you? I know that I would. And if my child started to show signs of intellect, I'd stop them, too. So, through the years, this subconcious teaching too dumb yourself down is in all of us except for a few rebels who either defy the law or people who break through the barrier. So if anyone ever calls you stupid just remember that you're really a genius who doesn't know it yet. And that goes for other people as well!

d'you ever wonder why people do the things they do? oh sure, you can find the reason, but do you really know why they do it? most people don't know why they do the things that they do every day. why do they make the decisions that they do? why to they think the things they think? why do they feel? maybe they make decisions based on knowledge they feel they have. maybe they don't. what makes them think they have the knowledge to make that decision? is it instinct that makes them think these things? is it something learned? something genetic? what is it? i'm sure they all have their reasonings, they all are sure that they know what it is,ever thought the don't. and those that don't think they know really do know but just won't admit it to themselves. they know why they feel the way that they feel when each little thing happens. it's all madness. madness i tell you. each and every one of us is insane and none more than any other or any less. you are the same as the next person and it drives you to the edge of sanity and you cross the line with joy in your heart, but you don't know it. that's the beauty of it. the art. watch for it for it is a beautiful thing to witness and also experience. embrace it and see the world how you have always longed to see it, and how it has always longed to see you.

What's with this whole pain thing? What is pain? Is it really the body's way of telling your brain that it's damaged or could it just be over stimulation of nerves? Maybe, the pain is caused by your brain because you think it should hurt. how about that? Some people are going to bring up that baby's cry when they get burned for the first time and they don't know that it's going to hurt. How do you know they're crying from pain? Couldn't they be crying from confusion becase they've never experienced anything like this before? Do you think that if you taught a baby that pain is a good sensation that he or she wouldn't be able to feel the 'discomfort' of pain when they grow up? Could be...could be. Maybe this whole pain thing is really just a trick that society has played on itself because the things that inflict pain can often cause disfigurations that are outside of the social norm. Could that be a possibility? I guess it could. Could it be that pain is the only pure sensation and that we're afraid of it because of what tradition before us has taught? Can we even tell the difference between a burn, a cut, extreme cold, or any other pain, or does it all feel the same? Think about it and share.
