72-BCP 535. Regal III with handsome Roe B36R bodywork. Some of these were converted to front entrance, sometimes as OMO, by the Corporation. |

Peter Relf caught my favourite Hebble vehicle. 267, a Regent III with lowbridge Willowbrook bodywork. Excellent finish inside, similar in quality to the East Lancs CD6-50's of the Corporation. I enquired if I could buy one, and the GM offered me one for £250. Well in excess to what I could afford then!! Not used much, generally seen on the Saturday only service of Halifax-Bradford via Wibsey. A route which Halifax residents seemed to be unaware of, as you could ride the service almost empty to Northowram when the Corporation bus alongside was standing only! |

Originally a Hebble vehicle, it was transfered to the Corporation on dismemberment. Seen here in Great Albion street, by Cliff Essex. |
