Well, unfortunately NINJA SCROLL was rented out, so I picked THIS up. The box art seemed cool enough, and I figured the title was cool too. That's what I get for forming an opinion... This thing lacked big time story and insight wise. Maybe there's like some whole other story that goes along with this that I'm missing out on. Well, this cargo craft crash lands in a forest, and a babe jumps out of the shower, listens to a radio report, and runs out the door... naked! Boy what I wouldn't give to be a tenant on her floor, heh heh. Well, the woman's name is Cybil and she and her co-reporter friend Dick are trying to pick up the latest military scoop: a couple of pre-programmed battle droids are on the loose and wreaking havoc. But, the army grunts grab Dick and Cybil, pushing them to the side and away from the "scoop". After making a mockery of the Japanese military, one of the droids is captured and goes into self-destruct mode. The other droid escapes and Cybil and Dick sneak off in the carnage and Cybil goes off on her own to find the final droid. She finds the droids' creator's house in shambles, because it turns out that the 'bots are after the guy's granddaughter (why? who the fuck knows why they were programmed to do it?)! For some unknown reason, Cybil decides it's her duty to to protect this girl... risking her tight ass for a girl that she's NEVER met... sometimes women are too stupid for their own good... shit, the human race as a whole is too moronic for it's own good... Anyway, Cybil finds the girl, the military finds them, and the last knock down, drag out fight ensues. It ends as Cyb blows that digitized motherfucker to smithereens with a case of explosives! Wait a minute... 45 minutes?! What a ripoff! I paid 4 bucks for this?! Maybe the human race aren't the only twits in this reality... Looks like it's suicide again for me...
