Yeah, a big budget movie that's also a pleasure to watch! Enough with the bullshit, let's get down to business. Some guy by the name of John Murdoch wakes up in a hotel room with no memory and possession of a brand new corpse! He wanders aimlessly around town, trying to find out what the fuck is going on, when he's bumped into Keiffer Sutherland. Right now I would scream in terror, but this film shows Sutherland in his greatest role ever, the doctor who betrays mankind (not the wrestler!) to a race of aliens known as "the strangers". He has this cool little toady stutter that sounds like Jeff Goldblum on PCP! Turns out the city in floating in space, and is merely one big experiment by the strangers. Murdoch, for no reason what-so-ever, has telekinetic powers similar to those of the strangers, so he may fight them with the doc's help and save his fellow human beings to see the light of day once again. Needless to say, but I'll say it anyway, Murdoch defeats the strangers and brings sunlight and Oceanic-happiness back to his fellow guinea pigs. This was a cool movie filled with aliens that look like the offspring of Pinhead and Uncle Fester! Lots of dazzlin' special FX, alot of intensity, and a dash of insane and spastic Keiffer Sutherland make for one Hell of a movie. That reminds me, I better go check on the stranger who was lobotomized by that billboard, so I'll be ending this review............ NOW!
