Charles Band has a weird obsession with toys! Need proof? Let's look at the evidence: DEMONIC TOYS; DOLLMAN VS. THE DEMONIC TOYS; the entire PUPPET MASTER series, and this pre-Full Moon work about... dolls, stupid, what else?! The film is about six strangers who happen upon an old house in a rain storm. The group consists of a bickering couple and their daughter, a fat guy, and two slutty punkerettes. The house's owners are, apparently, an old toy maker and his wife, who still make toys the old fashioned way: by hand. Turns out the lovable toy maker is actually a warlock(?!) and his "dolls" are gremlins (double "?!") and, needless to say, four people die. This wasn't as entertaining as a "Puppet Master" movies, because the dolls were just normal dolls, but it was still good none the less. Guy Rolfe (Herr Toulon!) plays yet another guy playing with dolls, but, again, he manages not to make it seem sissy-like. Way to go Guy! The moral of today's story kids? "Fuck you clowny!"
