Dammitt! I've let Roger Corman terrorize the Horror genre long enough! He's tampered with comics now, and that's inexcusable! VAMPIRELLA is "based" upon the Harris comic of the same name. On the planet Draculon, the inhabitants are all vampires. But, drinking blood from another person is considered barbaric, so civilized vamps drink from rivers!? Well, a group of evil, "barbaric" vamps kill the vampire high council and escape to Earth. Hot on their tails? A vampire girl (actually, she's a mouth watering young woman) named Ella. Get it? Vampire Ella... Vampirella? Uggh. So, Vampirella gets hooked up with a cop, they get caught by Vlad (the vampire leader/rock "star") and his bloodsucking gang, then feed on each other, break free and kill the bad guys. Fanboys everywhere should unite and kick Corman in his shriveled sac for this shit! Boys, get your steel-toed boots for this one!
