Witchboard: the Possession

(1995)

This is possibly the MOST mediocre movie I've ever had the apathy of viewing! The story goes like so: a landlord uses a Ouija board to play the stock market. One day, he gives the board and a ring to one of his tenants, then... THROWS HIMSELF ONTO A SPIKED GATE! At his funeral, his ex-wife pokes a hole in his skull, and mumbles some warning to the board's new owner. Brian (the tenant) uses the board to make money and turn a fat loan-shark into a pin cushion, then tries to burn it. In the process, the landlord's demonic soul takes over Brian's body, proceeds to make Brian a shit load o' cash, and slips the salami to Brian's wife. But, Brian's soul contacts Julie (the wife) and she manages to separate Brian and the demon, and Brian kills the demon with a bloody spearhead. Dave Nerman (Brian) 's acting made me look at him as a young Tim Thomerson (if such a thing ever existed)! Well, that's about it! I've never been more neutral on a subject since the Spanish Inquisition. Actually, that was slightly more entertaining.

Also Known As: WITCHBOARD 3: THE POSSESSION

Sequels: this is the third of a WITCHBOARD trilogy
