"The End of the Rainbow" is a tavern/bawdy house located just a few
streets away from the Low Market. It is occupied by a collection
of sailors, merchants as well as a sprinkling of other ruffians
and citizens of the Dock Quarter. There are a few rooms for rent
on the upper floor, though most are rented by the hour. This
is where Hamlet resides when staying in this part of the city.
The common room has a bar on the wall opposite the entrance and
a stone hearth to the right. Lighting is kept to a minimum 24
hours a day to better allow for the privacy of the patrons, who
may not wish their activities easily spied upon. The innkeeper,
Claudius, is a bard of no small renown who plays music for the
patrons or when some of his "girls" dance, though he
is as quick with the club he keeps behind the bar as he is with
a lute.
