Full Name: Do I hafta tell ya my full name? I hate it! *sigh* It's Mary Margaret Gallagher, but do me a favor an' jus' call me Ruby, all right? Much obliged to ya. Elena still calls me Maggie, but she's da only one anymore.

Appearance: I'm kinda average height, curvy for a street rat. I wear boy's clothes but they don't fool nobody, although, da older I get, da more often I wear skirts. Gettin' too old ta always wear pants, ain't ladylike. *laughs* My hair's this weird dark auburn color that I hate (hence me nickname), but it's really long an' curly so that ain't so bad. My eyes are green, see? *opens eyes real wide* I always have me ma's rosary on me somewhere, and I'm always wearin' a cameo locket. *smiles slightly* It belonged to a friend a mine.

Background: I was born in Philadelphia, great city dat it is. I came ta live wit' my mudda's sistuh when I was five. One epidemic a' smallpox later, I'm on me own. They tried ta throw me da orphanage, but that didn't work too good. Ended up in Brooklyn fer most a' me life, den I came heah. Been in Harlem fer about 2 years now, I guess, I like it heah.
