Welcome to the 2007-2008 School Year. Each New Year brings hope, promise, possibilities, challenges, and changes that are all individually packaged and equally anticipated by all. I am excited to have the honor of being the Principal of Hattiesburg High School this year and I know that this will be a great year. Research suggests that working collaboratively yields positive results for our students, their parents, the community at large, and ultimately our school district. Our responsibility is to provide a quality educational experience for all students everyday. The motto for Hattiesburg High School this year is "Don't just be, BE THE BEST". This motto is an expectation of the excellence from everyone. Parents expect the school district to provide their children with the best teachers, and teachers expect parents to send their best children to school everyday. Together, we all will make the world a better place if we give our best all day, every day. Again, welcome to HHS and we look forward to a successful school year. Respectively, Robert L.
