There are many Ways to Give....
General Donations
General donations can be made in many ways. Contact Hawgs For Dogs at (510) 489-7685 for information on donations.
In Honor of / In Memory of
GDA has a wonderful program to honor or memorialize
a special person or loved one by sending a special card acknowledging that
you have made a contribution in their honor/memory.
Wills and Bequests
By naming GDA in your Will or Bequest, you help to
ensure the continuation of GDA's work of providing guide dogs free of charge
to blind recipients.
Pupil Sponsorship
Sponsoring a puppy is a great way to become involved.
You will get to name the puppy and receive updates throughout its puppyhood.
The cost of the program is $3,000.
Special Harnesses
Guide Dog harnesses can be sponsored for our students
in training. These custom-made leather harnesses cost $100 each, and are
provided, at no charge, to each student.
Gift in Kind
Donations of specific items are also needed. You
can contact the school to obtain information on what items are on GDA's
current "wish list". Items needed vary and donations are always appreciated.
Other Ways You Can Help
Volunteer! There is plenty of room and need for volunteers
at GDA, and your time and effort can be a wonderful way to contribute.
Contact GDA to find out more about volunteering.
