HOOTERS WIN STREAK ENDS!
21/06/03

The BWS Kelmscott Hooters franchise record 11 game winning streak at Foxy's multi-purpose Sports Stadium onThursday night, has come to an end of a DRAW at the hands of the third placed Damage Inc.
They remain the only undefeated team in the league and maintain top spot on the ladder but kiss goodbye their dreams of an umblemished record at the end of this campaign.
To their credit the Hooters voluntarily forfeited their right to a 30 point head start due to the unproffessional Damage Inc. being late, short on players and out of uniform, but in the end their generosity was rewarded with their first NON-win of the season.

The Hooters led for 98% of the match, surrendering the lead for the first and only time with 1 minute to play to trail by one, before a clutch jumper by Hawkeye Nelson restored the Hooters advantage, but a terrible call as the siren sounded by the inexperienced and blind sided red Phil Mcracken saw Fresh Henderson hit with a foul despite clearly blocking a last second desperation shot by Damage Inc.

They missed the first FT with the lane clear as all players watched from half court, but he calmly iced the second to steal half the points and ruin PG Ross Williams birthday celebrations.
