CARROLL'S, GRIFFIN, HATCHER and DAMM FAMILIES
Our primary hobby is family genealogy. In fact, I enjoy writing genealogies for people. It is an entertaining challenge to cut down all of those skeletons hanging from the trees and digging them out of the closet.
My mother-in-law, Mary Damm Carroll, has shared quite a lot of information with me over the years about her family.
We are still trying to track down LOFTISS, LOFTIS, CARROLL, CARTWRIGHT, HATCHER, Bascom, Griffin, Damm, Sheppeard and others.
I have had quite a time trying to find out more about the Hatcher family. Mother told me that my grandfather, Fred HATCHER, was a semi-pro baseball player when he met my grandmother, Margaret Ann Griffin.
Fred's father, Stephen Mcgagil Hatcher is a BIG mystery to me. His father appears to have been a John A. Hatcher and mother...I think REBECCA...He had a sister named Nancy. They lived in New Madrid Co, MO area.
IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION TO SHARE WITH ME ABOUT ANY OF THE FAMILY, PLEASE CONTACT ME.
