Ingredients
- 1/2 cup fine, dry breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried whole basil
- 1 teaspoon dried whole oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 4 chicken breast halves
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1/4 cup Chablis or other dry white wine
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Directions
- Combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, garlic salt, and salt in a small bowl; stir well.
- Dip chicken in 1/4 cup melted butter; dredge in breadcrumb mixture.
- Place chicken, skin side up, in an ungreased 9-inch square baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until chicken is done.
- Combine 1/2 cup melted butter, wine, green onions, and chopped parsley in a small bowl; stir well.
- Pour wine mixture over chicken.
- Bake an additional 5 minutes or until sauce is thoroughly heated.
