I don't know much about this family. Even though there was notes of 'Betsy' & her siblyings birth dates, hers was hard to decipher. John & Betsy were married by John Young, JP., Found in the 1820 Jackson Co census, 1827 Hall Co. Land Lottery (drew Muscogee Co) & 1830 Hall Co census

Except for Nancy E. Southard (ca 1834 Ga - 1862 Ga) md 1852 Ga to Powhatan Henry CARLISLE [Andrew's line] it is not really known who any other children were. Nancy & Powhatan were 1st cousins. It is though though that perhaps the John B. Southard (1825 - 1902 Ga) found in Forsyth Co., ga was her brother? From census 3 males & 1 female children were noted.
