This cemetery was
established in 1830, as there was no cemeteries started when John
Cook died. He was buried on his land. He & Margaret came to
KY while the Indians were still in the area. Their slaves are
buried outside the fence on the west side of the cemetery, along
the fence row and are unmarked.

John Wesley
Cook was the first owner of this land and when he & his
wife, Chloe Jane died, they were buried in the field near the
house. In later years Reuben Boston owned the land and is now
owned by Mrs. Lucille Cook Williams. Copied by Nina Barber, 1981
