I love this breed of dogs.My husband and I have 4 of them.You are so right when you say the media is to blame for the bad reps these dogs get.I've learned that their is no such thing as a bad dog,only bad owners:)

Cool site! it is nice to know that someone really loves and knows how loyal this breed is. we live in ca and have 2 pits. my family has raised pits as long as i can remember. that is the only dog i really feel comfy around. hubby was a little hesitant but fell instantly for our 1st, diego. he died in jan (4yrs!) heart attack in surgery. well, i'm starting to ramble, but great site and i hope this wakes up some people out there!! keep it up!:) darcyb

Congrats! on your site. I own a pitbull and it makes me so angry that ignorant people call them killers when the opposite is true. My dog is sweet and loves kids.. he's so "dangerous" that he runs to me when there's thunder outside or fireworks go off. Si es like yours are important to raise awareness that these breed isn't bad, as the media and some politicians love to point out.

I just want to commend you on your site. I have a pitbull. My brother no longer could keep her so now she is living with me. Ever since I laid eyes on her I fell in love with her. She is my pride and joy. Some people kind of cringe when I tell them w at kind of dog I have and of course like usual I have to try and explain that she is not a bad dog. I have had many other breeds of dogs in the past, believe me if something ever happened to her I will definitely get another pit bull. Only another perso with a pit can explain the bond that is created between the dog and yourself. My dog is my pride and joy. People brag about their children, well I brag about my dog!! She is the silliest, most understanding animal I have ever met. She has a uniquenes that is unexplainable. If someone is looking for an intelligent,loyal, and loving animal companion look no farther than a pitbull. They require a lot of love and attention, but once you see how much they give back to you it is all very well worth it!!< >

THANK YOU...we share the same feelings and I have been outraged everytime they put on news or in papers about our loved breed. I call papers and news stations, but get the brush off..PPl r really missing out on one of the most loyal dogs there R !! Mine is 7 years old i think and i got him by accident. I was going out to adopt a greyhound. He is my best friend, protector of family, and a riot in personality..so much so that he has turned many ppls heads to what great dogs they r.. I had previously asked a question about some lost e-mail & went to check if anyone had responded. Having seen the cry for help about building a web page and having considered doing one myself, I checked it out, and found your wonderful response, (thanks). Being interested in art, I plan to put some of my works on a home page sometime in the future. Hoping that soon, Lord willing, I'll be able to get a color printer and scanner.
